Julie’s Bio

Julie is a Registered Nurse with 30 years of experience and a passion for helping individuals and families who struggle with a variety of health issues. Julie offers direction, hope and encouragement to those who desire to make healthy changes in their lives but don’t know where to begin. Her expertise in teaching makes it easy to understand new health concepts.

As a result of an automobile accident 15 years ago, Julie was diagnosed with fibromyalgia. The fibromyalgia contributed to her being resistant to most medications which eventually resulted in physicians advising that she learn to live with the complications of migraines, a sleep disorder, and extreme muscle and joint pain. After exhausting conventional medicine and a host of other alternative treatments she began taking USANA supplements and discovered Dr. Strand’s Healthy for Life program.

Impressed with the medical soundness of the Healthy for Life program, Julie participated in the course to improve her medical symptoms. In 18 weeks’ time, she began to sleep through the night, drastically decreased her migraines and eased some of her joint pain. As a side effect, she lost 20 pounds and dramatically increased her energy levels. This success created a passion in her for helping others achieve their own level of optimal health. She knows that if she could do it so could others.

Being a Certified Coach with Dr. Strand’s Healthy For Life program, Julie promotes a lifestyle that includes low-glycemic eating, proper nutritional supplements, and moderate exercise. This regime can allow others to experience the freedom that good health brings and empower people to make good lifestyle choices to achieve their best health ever.
